He hates taking risks, but this cabbie’s next fare is a killer.
Toffee’s life tailspins when Haley, an assassin, passes out in his back seat. She wakes believing Toffee is the answer to her lonely world. But first, they must flee a cabal of criminal syndicates commanding hundreds of soldiers. To complicate matters, someone she knows betrayed her, setting her up to die.
Just as they escape one trap, Toffee is captured.
Haley must rescue Toffee and find out who set her up. As they run for their lives, both are torn between letting Toffee go lead a safe existence or risk everything for a future together.
Haley sets her own trap by walking into theirs.
