Paul and Jessica share a rocky, emotional past, but as an FBI Agent faced with a strange occult murder to solve, she needs Paul’s expertise. The bizarre killing turns to the incredible when the autopsy shows the victim’s internal organs were completely incinerated leaving the exterior untouched. After another murder occurs, they fight through near-death experiences to discover a shocking truth about both the victims and the perpetrators.

The line between perception and reality fades, forcing Paul and Jessica to question their beliefs and each other. They face a cabal of powerful gods with the power to obliterate planets. The only way to survive is for Jessica to set aside her atheism and believe.
